Nathan is a great teacher who has really expanded my knowledge is music, I have learned so much! I went from just knowing four chords on guitar to learning how to freestyle. Nathan is a great teacher! You will not regret learning from him. :)
T Jae is very knowledgeable of the music industry. He is also very wise to "how things are done"! I trust him fully in making decisions that affect my career and know he will always stear me in the right direction!!
Patrick is the sole reason I am playing guitar and writing my own music to my songs. He is a wonderful teacher who is very talented, but is extremely patient and effective with his students. I am currently living in Los Angeles, but I am still taking lessons from Patrick once a week via Skype/FaceTime because he is the best guitar teacher I've found. As a person, he is trustworthy, kind and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Patrick Lockwood- he is worth every penny!!
Working with Luther Young I will have to say is beyond superb. His level of professionalism goes beyond expected. We have worked on several design and music production together and He knows how to make your vision come to life more then what you expected it to be.
Always gets the job done, fast at Pro Tools, understands music and is very easy to work with.
I liked how he taught how to read music and how to play by ear. Playing by ear gave the students a chance to be creative and have fun with music. I know many teachers teach only one but Eric is talented and knowledgeable to teach both. He is also very patient and kind while communicating with the students giving them confidence and make learning music enjoyable.
Beautiful music for my mom's wedding on the lake. She arrived on time and was patient when waiting for her return boat ride. It was a pleasure working with you.
My four Celtic songs on the Mia Moravis/Gotham Records recent release, DUNOON, were rescued from dusty analog tape and converted to digital. Gotham took two of the songs to 2016 LA Sync Mission where, immediately thereafter, instrumentals were requested. With the 2" analog master now defunct, Zak created the instrumentals for us. We couldn't be happier! Zak is patient and understanding, and realized how important it was that - especially under these unique circumstances and a tight deadline! - we have instrumentals which match the original works as closely as possible, and yet which are exciting enough to stand alone for sync purposes. Bravo, Zak! We are ever grateful to you, as is our original Producer, Pamela Joyce Wright, who loved your instrumental versions!
I always enjoy working with Pal and Artec Sound. Pal knows how to make music sound professional and we always have fun recording when I come down to Nashville. I always look forward to working with Pal every year and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can't wait to work with Artec Sound to make my next record. Truly a remarkable experience!
Cameron filmed and produced a short video promo for a band I'm in. He went out of his way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and did a fantastic job of representing us exactly how we envisioned! I highly recommend him!
Danny is the most passionate person I know and he truly knows it all when it comes to music! Hos classes are fun and he knows how to cover complicated material in really easy to digest ways! And the most important thing, he will keep you inspired! Besides being an incredible guitarrist, I know he plays all instruments and he can even produce! He helped me edit my first album some years ago. I truly recomend danny if you want to learn an instrument, music theory or produce your music, he's genious!
I have had the wonderful privilege of working with Gerry Peters on my music projects for the past 6 years. My first project was a 13 song CD project from start to finish through Midi Magic Studio. The first thing to thoroughly impress me was the genuine care and interest Gerry took in capturing my dream and style for each song embellishing each one so beautifully with his own musical interpretation and style. Recording the vocals in the Midi Magic studio was equally enjoyable, feeling comfortable and at ease to express and capture what I desired for each song. Along with Gerry's musical expertise are his technical abilities, back up singers, and musicians which all work together to make each music project a smashing success. In between opportunities to work in the studio, I appreciate working with Gerry long distance, receiving the same care, promptness, and total satisfaction in completing my music. I am grateful and totally blessed to have this wonderful music resource for realizing my dreams!
This is going to sound corny but working with Brian Irwin at Monster Studios in Nashville, TN has been a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for a cooler, stress free, near magical experience! At the recommendation of a mutual friend, listening to his work and from other superb testimonials here on Thumbtack, I took the leap and flew from LA to Nashville to knock out my first EP over a five day stretch. Not only is the studio top notch and super comfortable, being able to record live analog into digital was something I was hoping for and he was a pro at getting the best sound and performance out of myself and all of the musicians involved, which by the way he hand picked and they were phenomenal. That said, he has access to some of the best musicians in town and we all had a blast. If you want to be in a creative space where the folks there are in it for more than just the dough, this is the place. No pretensions and a lot of love. Not to mention there are 18 incredible trees on the property! It's extremely beautiful and peaceful - the ideal setting to cut a record. In my opinion, Brian Irwin is a super cool, down to earth, crazy smart, gifted and well seasoned (and inhumanly humble) musician, producer, engineer and post production whiz. Nicest guy you'll ever meet and fun to work with. From the pre-production and planning to the post-production and mastering, he afforded me the patience and support to help me create with ease while at the same time maintaining a super professional environment and is no nonsense when it comes to getting the job done - on time. He's also very keen on what the music calls for in any given situation and as a producer is very open to and invites direction and isn't at all an ego tripper like so many musicians and producers can be....I'm just sayin'. As a recording engineer, he's super knowledgable, which allowed us to get a lot of work done effortlessly in a short amount of time. The sound quality on my album is crystal clear, warm and turned out even more incredible than I could have imagined. As a first time recording artist, I feel really lucky to have had him as my guide on this project. It was really important for him to know that I left with something I loved and was happy with. I feel this is a unique quality for someone in his position to hold and it made things all the more inspiring to feel that kind of support, right to the end when I was emailing him notes from LA and he was right there with me til I gave him the final green light. Did I mention that his rates are exceptionally reasonable for the quality that he delivers?! That said - I highly recommend any artist fly in from anywhere on the planet to record in this incredible space with this super gifted man. I certainly hope to be able to do it again soon. Kudos!
I've worked with Damien on several occasions to record an electronic dance album. He's definitely a professional engineer who knows his way around a recording studio. He helped me establish some amazing sounding synths and beefy basslines. Would definitely recommend going to Damien for any of your audio needs.
Noah is a great teacher! His sunny attitude takes the frustration out of learning new skills. His amazing skills are matched in measure by his amazing patience, and he has a knack for explaining technique in ways that can be easily grasped by students of any level. Spending time with Noah for lessons is a joyous occasion, something to look forward to, that leaves me with not only improved musical skills, but an improved outlook on life. I highly recommend him as a teacher.
Michael Chirri was my guitar teacher when I first started to play over 2 decades ago. I still benefit to this day from the scales & techniques he taught. What sets Michael apart from other guitarists, besides playing at a Masters level, is his enthusiasm for teaching, his encouragement, and the diversity of styles that he can play. My endorsement is gladly given, but not needed. The quality speaks for itself. -Dan Minard
I am a country music recording artist, songwriter and musician. My music is very traditional. I'm also a performer for live audiences as well as a recording studio artists. I create music and play guitar as well.
Seven Fish Media is an award-winning music producer with over 30 years of music production experience. Our demos are radio worthy.
I'm an audio engineer who graduated from SAE Downtown Nashville. I've been writing and mixing music for over 10 yr. I know that sound you want, and if I don't, I can find it for you. I'm mainly in the hip-hop genre, but I can mix any genre. My services are very affordable, and you won't leave my studio until you're greatly satisfied.
I feel that I have a knack for style, and helping people find what they really want out of music. Of course, if you're just starting, learning the mechanics of the instrument is the most important. But your instrument is really just an extension of yourself, and you eventually want to play how you feel. Its an extraordinary thing!
I am a Grammy Award nominated music educator and producer, providing full-production and artist development services.
