My passion is to help my clients create the life they want through feeling their best and creating a space where they can enjoy exercise and eating healthy. I feel that health is created through movement, fueling the body with sustainable foods, and mental clarity. Working with Janet has been the highlight of my year thus far. As a person who’d never engaged in any strength training, I was intimidated by the thought of starting the process. But Janet has completely reshaped the way I view strength training and my own potential. 

Janet is a natural teacher who fosters a supportive, judgement-free atmosphere that is both inspiring and empowering. Each session has a clearly outlined agenda, which is written on a white board and articulated at the beginning. The agenda ensures no time is wasted, as Janet is highly time-efficient because she wants maximize the session, and I very much appreciate this. Additionally, she is highly observant, verbally recognizing things I’m doing particularly well as well as immediate feedback regarding growth areas, so that I can improve the next time around. But perhaps what I most enjoy is how accessible Janet makes the physical movements and the more theoretical knowledge. She beautifully interweaves strength training with conversation regarding nutritional practices, offering practical insight regarding how to advance my physical and dietary health. Janet is brilliant; she’s a wealth of knowledge but knows how to meet me where I am to ensure I’m understanding everything. Since working with her, I feel stronger and more confident: physically and mentally. My body is definitely changing, and it feels great. 

In short: If you’re looking to be challenged (because you’ll definitely be pushed) in a supportive environment with a trainer who sees, hears, and values each of her clients, then you’d love working with Janet. She truly is exceptional at what she does, and I feel fortunate that she and I have crossed paths.

I love Janet!! I have been working with her for 2 months now and can already tell a difference! I have never been a person that has never struggled with weight but since I’ve been in my 30s I can just look at food and gain weight. After trying every diet and failing it, I knew that I had to take more drastic step. I have been to every workout class known to man and I have always left exhausted and intimidated to go back. I was nervous to try a personal trainer, however, then I met Janet. She honestly cares about you as an individual and tailors every workout to you. I’ve never not wanted to go to work out with her. She will make you sweat but not to the point you burn yourself out. Thanks to her I’m finally getting my confidence back and actually enjoy looking in the mirror again.
