FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is largely motivated by the investment a client is willing to put into private music lessons. The success of a student is largely based on their willingness to participate and practice. Because of this, I offer a flat rate if the client pays for one lesson at a time. I offer a monthly discounted rate, if the student pays for a month in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new client, I will spend a few moments during our first session, getting to know the individual, identifying their goals for taking private music lessons, and collaborating on a learning plan. I want my students to feel that their time with me is directed by their goals and interests. After that, we will dive into the basics (or starting place) of where they are and get right into making music. We will monitor progress and client satisfaction every week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Music Education from Welch College (Nashville, TN). I have 7+ years of experience as a professional accompanist and musician in Nashville, as well as 8 years experience teaching private lessons.
