Frankly, no two teachers, especially the good ones, do things the same way. Each student is unique, and they are also my teachers. Inspiring students to "play from the heart" and to trust in instinct is a wise gift that gives and gives... Currently teaching vocals to a Minneapolis native with a big voice that wants to own pieces much like Oliver Twist, The Wiz, etc. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Guthrie... My job is not a job, it is my genuine lifestyle. My students are my teachers. Time on task with music (e.g., coaching, guiding and giving lessons) nurtures a genuine passion within me and I am so grateful to able to make it relevant to the world around me...
