Jeanine Wheeler is an amazing piano teacher. I studied piano as a child, but when I inherited the family piano as a adult I had forgotten everything. Jeanine taught me how to play and how to read music - she was so patient and encouraging! Both of my children also studied with her, so I can say from experience that she is an excellent teacher of both children and adults. She takes on a student wherever they are on their musical journey, shores up the holes and moves them forward. Thanks to Jeanine Wheeler, my old piano has come back to life.

My son began piano lessons with Jeanine at the age of 6. He progressed rapidly and maintained interest in the piano in spite of numerous other activities (multiple sports, orchestra, school...). Jeanine was able to target his repertoire and lessons to keep him motivated. We were extremely sad when she told us she was moving out of state. My son has since started working with a Julliard-trained pianist and this teacher has commented on his strong foundation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical fee for teaching is $40/hourly, but a thirty minute lesson ($20) is sufficient for most students. For performances, I typically charge $100/service, with a $50 rehearsal fee as necessary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet in person first to discuss goals and details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a double bachelors in music education and music therapy, with extensive post-grad work. I also have nearly twenty years of experience.
