- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by mowing lawns in high school and just never stopped. Through out the years I’ve realized how much I actually enjoy this industry. Even with the blazing heat in the summer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job is mowing, which is pretty self explanatory. Another common request is Shrub Trimming, this is a little more complex and needs to be done with great detail. One common concern I hear from new customers, regarding their previous service is, that the crew did not clean up good. We rake thoroughly as well as blow out the flower beds if necessary. We also go over the tops of the shrubs to make sure we don't leave any clippings behind as this creates spots that look dead, but are really just dead trimmings that were not picked up.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a small flower bed renovation. It started with the builder grade landscaping and we were able to completely transform the way it looked by simply moving some bushes around and adding some new bushes. We then added a little bit of color with some annual flowers. It was a smaller project but made a huge difference.
