I hate leaving a bad review as all of the gentlemen that came to my house were pleasant and respectful. Unfortunately, the execution of my project was sorely lacking. Our project was to reinstall my wife’s bathroom vanity that we had to remove to fix water damage. We had all of the pieces present and everything was going back exactly as it was no modifications needed. The day started out with the crew getting to our home an hour late. I had to call after more than 30 min past our job start time to make sure that they were even still coming. Upon arrival the 3 gentlemen got straight to work but did not take care to either cover their shoes or our floors in the areas they needed to frequent during the project. This becomes a problem later. Both my wife and I were in the house and available throughout the entirety of the job and we let the crew know to let us know if they had any questions. No one came to us with any concerns or questions so we took that to mean that everything was going well. My wife went in to check on the progress as the job seemed to be nearing completion. The quality of the job was less than acceptable to say the least. The work looked sloppy, and there were several pieces misaligned. We were told that the reason it looked like that was because the previous drywall repair we did made the wall uneven. My first issue with this is, why did you not say this when you started the job? If they would have let us know that because of an outside factor they would not be able to reinstall the unit correctly then we would have been able to make an informed decision about possible solutions. Upon further review we found several more issues of low quality work. There are extra screws added in random places for seemingly no reason. Several of these added screws damaged our cabinets. There are nails sticking out all over the place many of which are also damaging the cabinets. The caulk that was installed did not look professional at all. The crew said that they still needed to trip the excess but there is caulk covering my painted walls that is peeling the paint off. We were told that this caulk was a special fast drying caulk but 9 hours later it is still wet and I cannot safely trim it. During this entire process made wife noticed that our wood floors upstairs along the work path showed deep scratches. We did not witness how the damages were made however they were not present prior to the start of the project. We found nails on the floors around the project and other area that could have easily gotten caught on the unprotected shoes and damaged the unprotected floors. We asked the crew to stop work and we paid them there full original price. Unfortunately, we will be paying more to repair the damage that was done.
