- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start off asking the client for his or her goals then we move on to a health assessment. During the first session I evaluate squat form, strength levels, experience, and monitor target heart rate. I inform the client that no race is won over night and then we typically go over nutrition methods and discuss program development.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A Degree in Health Science from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. I am an Elite trainer thru ISSA holding a level 2 strength and conditioning certification, personal training, and specialist in fitness nutrition cert as well. I also have over 5 years experience in private personal training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I played basketball and lift weights since I was a pre teen. In college I helped trained all the athletes in the dorms and eventually decided this is what I wanted to do.
