I asked Membreño to give me an estimate on installing a water filter and a descaler at my rental property. He said he needed to look at it to give it so we agreed on the date and time. He confirmed he'd check it out and give me the "budget". On the agreed day he arrived, asked me what I wanted done and then proceeded to do the work. He didn't give me the estimate or asked the permission to proceed. After he finished he texted me with the amount to pay, which was $100 more than the other estimate I had. I said I'd pay after I get the invoice. The next 15 minutes we spent arguing about it as he did not want to provide it. In the end he wrote me a receipt that resembled the invoice. I did not see his work but the tenant said it was good. Based on my experience I do not recommend using him as his prices look similar to big company plumbers but you get subpar service and it's hard to communicate as his English is not the best.
