- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee for a solo acoustic performance is $500. If you would like additional musicians for your event it is an additional $150 per musician. I play with some of the best musicians in the area and we can create whatever performance you would like, whether you want a solo acoustic performer or a full-band production.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step would be to set up a brief phone call. During this call you will tell me a bit about your event. This is where I like to get a sense for the vision of what you're trying to create. Based on what you share with me about your event we will then collaborate on a solution that works best. After we agree on the details of the event and my booking fee I will send over a contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing for live audiences for over 15 years. There is a lot more that goes into being a professional musician than just playing good songs. You have to know how to read the crowd. You have to bring a positive energy. You have to know how to make guests feel comfortable and happy so that they enjoy themselves. You have to make them laugh, tell jokes, share stories and get them engaged in the event. Additionally you have to be extremely good at your instrument so that guests are wowed by the performance. I have been honing my craft as an entertainer for a long time. When you hire me you aren't getting an amateur who knows a few cover songs. You are getting a professional musician and entertainer.
