I'm Shaun Dougherty, a professional guitarist based in Austin, playing a smooth blend of solo instrumental Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Latin guitar; a perfect mix of George Benson and John Mayer.
My style is perfect for creating a relaxed, upscale atmosphere where live music should elevate the vibe without overpowering conversation.
I supply the PA and I only need 1 outlet to plug into so I can set up almost anywhere.

Shaun was absolutely incredible and brought the perfect energy to our wedding day. From the very beginning, he understood the vibe we were going for and executed it flawlessly.
His music created such a warm, fun, and elevated atmosphere throughout the entire event. From the ceremony to cocktail hour and beyond, every moment felt intentional and beautifully set. We had so many guests comment on how amazing the music was and how it truly made the experience.
Beyond his talent, Shaun was also extremely professional, easy to work with, and just genuinely great to have around on such an important day. He made everything feel seamless.
Our only regret is not having him play longer - we truly could have listened to him all night.

I can’t even begin to describe how impressed I was with Shaun. We hired him for the cocktail hour at our reception and my only regret is that we didn’t hire him for the whole night! He personalized the playlist for us, had everyone engaged in the music and kept everyone wanting more! Please do yourself a favor and book him for whatever event it is you need live music for. He’s the best!!
