Rona was truly a great trainer. I needed a trainer for my rescue dog who is shy and easily scared. I've had dogs before and were able to train them, but this one I had no idea what to do. I needed a way to let my dog know that she can trust me. Without me saying this, Rona taught me and my boyfriend a way to gain our puppy's trust and to build our relationship. It's been a couple of days now and the trick totally works! Even when we go out now our dog would look at us instead of panning left and right. What I truly appreciate from Rona's training is that she taught us just enough for us to get started on the dog training. I wasn't overwhelmed with information and the tricks she taught us were useful ones for this stage of the dog's training. I think dog trainers need to realize that as much as they are training the dogs, their main task is to train the humans on how to train their own dogs, and that's exactly what Rona did. Thank you Rona, Lucy is doing a lot better (still problems here and there but getting better)!

Rona is without a doubt a good dog trainer. My needs are more specific than what I experienced. I want to become an expert in the mines of a pack. Position fight management. I am not sure Rona is the trainer for that. She was very knowledgeable, punctual & professional.

K9 Kenny is truly a dog whisperer! I highly recommend Kenny! I first contacted K9 Kenny to help us train our 8 month old female Belgian Malinous who was "out of control" who is now 21 months old. She now heels, sits, stays in place, doesn't charge the door when open (threshold training), and goes to her crate. What a difference with this dog, who is not food-motivated. I then asked Kenny to help my daughter with her 2 8 month old boxer boys. They currently in training and we are seeing an amazing change in behavior. They now don't flip out on a leash and also sit and stay sitted until given the command "free". If you need a dog trainer, K9 Kenny is the person to call!

Kenny is an amazing trainer. He helped to teach not only my puppy all the things he needs to be successful, but also to help teach what my girlfriend and I need to know in order to correct and train our puppy. I would most definitely recommend him to any one looking for a dog trainer. We will 100% be back to get more lessons from Kenny.

Kenny has been fantastic!! In just a few sessions, he has got my little Cosmo listening to me like never before. He is very attentive and listens to any questions or concerns I may have. I've worked with several different dog trainers, but K9 Kenny is by far the best. I've already recommended him to several of my friends!!

Really liked working with them. We were super worried about how our Great Dame would react to a trainer, because he has such bad public manners and is super crazy toward people and animals, but they were willing to work with us and meet us a few times before training so our dog would feel comfortable when they did take him for two weeks. We had a great response with their training and are continuing to work with them after the two weeks.

Dog trainer seemed very professional got past what I thought he could not get past my dog is very large and has a very mean bark but that did not stop the dog trainer for going in and handling him very gentle of course but affirmative loved it what would make it better is more consecutive sessions I know the days closer together

My boyfriend and I adopted a 6 week old pit bull named Huck in November 2013 the very first night we brought him home to feed him, I leaned down to pet him and he immediately starting growling. We tried to work with him ourselves but his food aggression started escalating as he got older and he also started being very aggressive towards us and family before he was 4 mo. Old. Our vet at the time told us that he needed to be neutered ASAP. So after we did that, we expected him to be more calm and less aggressive. Nothing really changed except he became more aggressive to the point where he would never let us give him a bath, clip his nails, being at the vet, pet him while he was eating or had any kind of bones to chew on, putting a collar on him, getting close to him and trying to touch his face. He would lash out at us if we did any of those things. It broke my heart more than anyone could understand because I was always so loving and affectionate towards my other dogs and the fact that I couldn't even love on my dog just ate me up. I became very scared of him and anytime he growled at me which was daily, I just left him alone. Me and my boyfriend have taken him to a few dog trainers in the past but we were turned away because they said he was too agressive and he should probably be put down. We even were recommended to go see a (Dog Phychiatrist) so he could be put on meds forever to help him be obedient. When I found out how much that was, it was insanely amount of money that we just couldn't afford. I was actually starting to consider to have him euthanized because so many people have told us that he is just to dangerous. I felt so alone and I just didn't want to be scared of my own dog anymore. My final attempt to get him help was actually on thumbtack. I listed my needs for a dog trainer and explained how agressive he was and expected to get no reply back from anyone because of his behavior. But then within 5 minutes of me posting my request, Christie said that she could help us. My boyfriend and I were kind of skeptical about it at first cause we didn't think she fully understood his condition and that maybe she just turn us away like all the others. But she explained to me that dealing with agressive breeds was actually her specialty which made me feel a lot better. On His very first day there of training he acted up pretty bad and Christie told that Huck needed to stay there for a while so she could work one on one with him without us being around. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make at that point but we decided to leave him there. It was very hard on us but we would have rather had to say goodbye for a little than have to say goodbye to him forever. Christie made us feel better by sending us emails and pictures almost daily about Huck's progress. We were finally able to bring him home 3 months later and we could not be more pleased with his behavior right now. I can finally say that we are able to put Huck's collar on him, clip his nails, and my most favorite part of all, he finally let's us love all over him and get close and touch his face. We know that he still has a long way to go, but he has made so much progress and we are so thankful from the bottom of our hearts for Christie. She is absolutely amazing with all of the dogs. You can really tell that she is genuine and really cares about what she does. We are learning so much from her and Ms.Jessica. That is why we drive 3 hours to see her for Class every Saturday morning from Houston.

Three years ago, I had a dog with whom I knew not what to do. She bit people and was regularly attacking my other dogs. One trainer told me she was so aggressive that my best option was euthanasia. Thankfully, Christie found me and after six months of extensive, intensive, patient and positive training, I had a model dog who amazes me every day. Since then, I've taken a dozen unadoptable dogs from The Humane Society to Christie and with her help found new homes for all of them. Your money will be well spent and you will have new dog that you can show off with pride.

I began obedience training with my new dog (new to me, but one-year-old) highly skeptical that either of us would learn a thing. I was absolutely wrong--Gretta learned to heel, sit, lie down, go to her "place," and stay; I learned all the things I'd been doing wrong for so many years! Amy is an amazing instructor--knowledgeable, systematic, patient, and so much fun. I wholeheartedly recommend Paws About Town to anyone wishing to have a more obedient and therefore safer dog.

Outstanding, is the description of the exceptional training that Casey, is providing for my 1 year old GoldenDoodle and myself. Casey, is a gentle trainer which I appreciate, and very patient teaching me how to handle and work with Gracey. His knowledge is vast and he provides me with sheets of training tips to work on between sessions. I have never met a kinder more gentle man with an amazing understanding of dogs. Finding this wonderful trainer is a gift for both myself and my dog! Linda Kelley

First of all, it's obvious that Casey really cares about helping people/families to be trained to get the best out of their dog. He works to set up a good foundation of the basics, then identifies issues and the best way to approach them. He also gives plenty of tasks to do between sessions. In a month I've already seen tremendous improvement in my puppy's training and behaviors. I would highly recommend Casey for individualized training for your new or old family member!

I love Austin Dog Zone! My dog, a Basenji named Loki, has some anxiety issues. After adopting him for the local shelter, it soon became apparent that I would need some help. He was scared of everything: dogs, people, noises, and even things I couldn't see or hear. I turned to Austin Dog Zone for help with this, especially his on-leash reactivity. The moment we met trainer Caitlin Lane I was impressed, she obviously knew what she was doing. Over the course of four private lessons at my home she taught me everything I needed to know to help Loki with his anxiety. 2 and a half years later and Loki and I can go to the park and meet other people and dogs worry-free! I genuinely believe Caitlin is the best dog trainer in Austin. She's naturally good with dogs, she's extremely knowledgeable (I've never had a question that she couldn't answer), and she's infinitely patient. I really like that she focuses not only on training the dogs, but on teaching the owner what they need to progress without her. I've only met fellow ADZ trainer Reed Morgan once, but after talking with her I was very confident she was of similar caliber. Megan Sartori came on board after I moved to Dallas, but I have no doubts she's great. Finally, Laura Neiheisel is always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond over email. I know she does a ton of work behind the scenes, but in addition to that she's a fantastic liaison for the company. To sum up, Caitlin and ADZ have had a lasting impact on my life and the life of my dog. I'm so grateful for all their help!

Kris is awesome! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I got my dog, Apollo, almost a year ago at the age of a year and a half. He was the easiest dog at the beginning, did everything I asked. A few months ago, Apollo, started to challenge me on everything, going on walks became impossible because he was so hyper. Then he became aggressive or at least I thought he was. When we'd walk, he'd try to attack any walker, biker, or runner that came near me. He started to growl and act like he was going to attack anyone that would come into my house. It got to the point, I was about to take him back to the pet shelter I got him at. I was terrified he'd bite someone and then he'd be put down. I was pretty against professional dog training, as I've heard horror stories from friends of spending a large sum of money with no results. After a very close encounter of Apollo almost biting a girl renting a room in my house for the weekend, I gave in and thats when I met Kris. Kris came to my house for a free two hour evaluation with Apollo, in which he got to know Apollo, I told him about the struggles, and then we went on a walk. Kris showed me several training techniques even during the elevation. He cares far more about helping your dog and you build a stronger relationship, in which both parties are happier, than just getting his money for the training. Kris is very passionate about what he does, which helps create a fun, exciting, training environment. I have never felt stupid for not knowing how to handle my own dog, or for asking questions, even if I had to ask the same one several times. Kris doesn't just take your dog and train him, he involves you, the owner, a great deal. This helps me a lot, because I didn’t know anything about how to train a dog before this. Kris will give me pointers, or explain why Apollo is acting a certain way when I do something. I feel very lucky that I have a dog trainer who is not only patient with Apollo, but so amazing at training me on how to train my dog. Kris is truly amazing at what he does, and seeing his connection with animals is extraordinary. I’m telling you, if you want to see immediate improvements hire Kris. I highly recommend not waiting to contact him, with his results his services will be in high demand soon. Thank you Kris, I can’t tell you how much it means to me that Apollo is such an obedient, loving dog now, our relationship/connection is so strong, it’s incredible.

From the first day I brough Bambi home from the shelter, she was not a fun dog to walk. She would go crazy if we saw another dog while walking, so I began to avoid other dogs whenever possible. But after five years of that and a few failed attempts with other trainers (who labeled her with "dog aggression" or "barrier frustration"), one day she got off leash and sent a dog to the emergency vet. That's when we met Kris. Despite her history, Kris knew just within minutes after meeting Bambi that it was a socialization issue, not aggression. After just a few hours with Kris, Bambi had made great strides, and after just a few days she was playing at the off leash dog park! Kris understands dogs - from pack dynamics to individual temperament - unlike any trainer I've worked with. He has a calm, confident, and positive training style that relies on the reinforcement of good behavior instead of treats or punishment. He has transformed Bambi into a differnt dog, and I know that there isn't a dog (or owner) out there he can't help.

My dog needed to be trained as a mobility service animal. I found Kris quite by chance, at my vet's office. It turned out to be a great match for us. He is very experienced and talented. He trained my dog in such a timely and effective way, that I didn't think was possible. Kris went above and beyond my expectations as a trainer. He has been a tremendous help in training my dog to be an effective tool for me to be an independent individual, and function on my own and get around without anyone's help. I recommend Kris to anyone how needs to train their dog as service animals.

After doing the 4 week training program with Meghan training my dog Shae, I am no longer worried to take her in public anymore. I've done trainings before, but never seen results. Meghan taught me fun games that I could do on our walks, or just sitting in my chair at home to train Shae. Shae used to dig her claws into the ground to jump at people and now she will calmly walk past them. Meghan has taught me so many helpful techniques to train Shae into becoming a more well behaved and well mannered dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Hunter is truly as good as it gets! We have a 5 month old Golden Retriever puppy and can't thank Hunter enough for the work she has done. She takes the time to asses your dog's behavior, interaction with owners, and makes sure your goals with training based on individualized needs. She methodically uses techniques that will work for you! With Hunter's training, our pup no longer jumps on people, comes when called, walks off leash, lays, stays, no longer gets on the couch/bed unless asked, and is no longer aggressive when it comes to her food. Other than her training skills, Hunter comes to your home and is ALWAYS on time or early- which makes training super convenient! She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and we would definitely recommend her!

My wife and I lead busy lives. We work downtown and wait for the sun to go down to walk Jake. He would lunge at other dogs and bark at people. With a baby on the way, it couldn't go on like this forever. Hunter was flexible with our crazy schedule and once a week took Jake out of our hands for a few hours. He's now totally relaxed in the crate when we have company and learned how to walk next to a baby stroller. We feel like professional trainers walking Jake in the daytime since he looks to us for guidance now each time he spots a dog. We've learned a lot about what Jake needed from us and it's changed the way we will own dogs in the future.

Our 18 month old lab, Apollo, stayed at Redmark Kennels for a month of disobedience training last year. Mark and Debbie worked with him daily and gave him the personal attention you would want from a dog trainer. Apollo left Redmark completely "off the leash" trained, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Apollo now knows almost 25 commands, and it wouldn't be possible without the strong foundation he got at Redmark Kennels. We will definitely be using Redmark Kennels for all of our boarding and training, and would strongly recommend anyone to use them to get your puppy into shape. Fantastic family owned and operated kennel! This is one family, that makes you and your dog, feel like family!

I cannot say enough good things about Julie Bailey's Kennel Service and her expertise with, and love and compassion for dogs. Her overall knowledge of dogs and her professional dog-handling and training skills are outstanding. We have a 10 year old, 120 lb Mastiff (Lady), that Julie has cared for since we first acquired her. She cared for my son's 150 lb mastiff (Kash) as well. Knowing that Lady is in Julie's capable and loving hands when we are away is such a comfort. We know she is securely kenneled but given lots of playtime, affection, and attention too. We are very fortunate to have found Julie Bailey and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for superior care for their family pet.

I specialize in "bully breeds", but work great with all dogs. I do basic training, including walking on a loose leash, down, sit and stay, tricks, socializing, etc. At the end of the course, your dog does get a diploma if they pass the exam. I have never had a dog fail. I use only positive reinforcement, and also do agility courses and even boarding once your dog has passed. I also love my felines!!!! I do have 8 years in aviary too!!!
