- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Hale's Tails came about almost four years ago. This was towards the end of my career as a Veterinary Technician. I decided to go into the pet sitting and dog walking business because I enjoyed so much working with animals yet my job as a vet tech, even though I was able to work with animals everyday, I had to see them in too much pain. It felt great to be able to help them get better but it was the ones that we could not help that got to me. That is why I decided to take a different profession in the animal care industry where I could work with and help animals without seeing them in their most weak states.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my most recent jobs was during one of the few times it actually snowed in Austin! Got snowed in for the day with three hyper pup's. Got to play outside with them during their first experience in the snow! We had a blast! Took ton's of picture's for the parent's to see when they got home. They absolutely loved it! The client's were at ease while away to know that somebody was there to take care of their little one's during the nasty weather. Made me feel so special to be that person.
