Keri G. says, "High skill level across broad range. Creative at finding solutions. Project involved fixing previously installed exterior fascia on a garage roof that would have drained into the structure. The fascia boards on an A-Frame/Gable roof were not properly angle cut to meet at center --On the 6" facing boards--- the bottom edges touched leaving an inverted gap open to the sky. Even with roof edging there was going to be leak points and wood putty was not effective solution due to gap size being at least 2-3" wide opening. Russell creatively cut the wood on each side of the gap and inserted a new center piece which fit perfectly, closing the gap and leak points. The fix made the roofline look balanced and complete. He also fixed another other area of the fascia left incomplete where two edges crossed in front and back of each other. Now it looks like it was designed that way. Did other carpentry tweaks on structure to get it rainproof, which was helpful. He's busy so be sure to book enough time in case you have scope creep. I was lucky he was available over 2-days. Pleasant, nice & a quiet self-starter. Discuss upfront any specific outcome, priorities or expectations and enjoy good results. I appreciate the skill level and finished job.
