Nathan Martinez started Lone Star Guitar Lessons in 2018. Lone Star Guitar Lesson's focus was and still is to make every student love playing guitar. This starts by learning who each student is. Every student is unique. They want to play different things. So we learn who they are and figure out how to get them to where they want to be. After that, we give students the basics to play guitar. This lets them play music from classical to pop to rock. It gives them all they need to succeed on the instrument. Because of our focus on fun, thousands of students have learned guitar. They are having a blast playing. Parents and students can see their progress. And everyone wants to play more music.

Nathan has taught my two boys (now ages 8 and 10) both in-person and virtually. They've progressed really well and look forward to their lessons each week. He's engaging and meets them where they are - even accommodating their requests to learn the theme songs from their favorite video games. :-)

Nathan is a great guitar teacher and we can’t say enough positive things about him. He has been working with my now 13 year old son for 3 years who really enjoys his lessons with Nathan. My son appreciates how Nathan focusses on what he want to learn, how the homework is clear, and he is always available to answer questions. Nathan is kind and truly cares about my don and his progress. And I really appreciate how flexible Nathan is and how he is always willing to work with me to adjust the lesson time when last minute things pop up. We offer a free intro lesson for all new students. Plus, for double weekly lessons, siblings, or family members, we offer huge discounts as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We meet and find out what makes you want to play guitar. 2. Then we figure out where you're at on the instrument. You can be a beginner, advanced player, or anywhere in between. Any style and age of students accepted as well. 3. Then we get you better on the instrument in the first lesson, and you have the best guitar lesson ever!
