FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For deliveries I charge 50 cents per minute and $1.00 per mile driven with a $25 minimum charge. For assembly and "labor only" jobs only I charge $1.00 per minute with a $25 minimum fee. TV installation runs a flat rate of $50 for 1 and an additional $20 per tv after that. Eg: 2 tv installations would be $70 total. For deliveries and assembly jobs the billing timer does not begin until I arrived at the pickup or job location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon receiving a delivery or assembly request I will contact the customer and get specifics on exactly what the customers needs and expectations are. I will inform the customer of any potential issues I think there may be and advise the customer on what we should do before I arrive to save the customer time and money. Once all the information has been exchanged over the phone I immediately drive to the pickup or job location. Once at the pickup or job location I begin billing. After the item is packaged and loaded in the truck I then text the customer an ETA of when to expect me. Once I arrive at the drop-off location I will inspect the route I need to take to safely deliver the item inside. Once the item is unloaded and brought inside the billing is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent my life in construction and handyman work. I have been there and done it all over the years.
