- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we get a request for a move, we send out an inventory list to get a better picture of the move to be completed. With a completed inventory list, a quote will be submitted to the customer. Once the quote is accepted, the firefighter movers will arrive on the date and time requested to complete the move. For unique circumstances, a firefighter mover will survey the project to assess the belongings and time required to complete the move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Firefighters are physically fit to meet the demands of their job. This includes: rescuing babies from burning houses, climbing flights of stairs with 80lbs of gear on, lifting car crash victims from wreckage, and lifting heavy pieces of furniture to help members of the community move into a new home.
