- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates start at $225 per person for a makeup session (within a 10 mile radius). I will charge a travel fee if my commute is over 10 miles to the destination. I do charge an extra $25 for false eyelash application. I will offer discounts if there are 2 or more in your party/group.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to have a conversation by phone with my client, so we can discuss the specific makeup look they are requesting. I also request that my clients submit a photograph/selfie , so that I can see the face/skin tone that I will be working on. I always arrive 20 minutes before the start time , so that I have time to set up my makeup kit and products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from USC School of Theatre in Los Angeles where I learned about color theory and makeup application, contouring, shading, and hightlighting. I worked directly with the Theatre for Youth Children's Workshop doing makeup for the child actors. I was a beauty trainer for Barney's New York stores nationwide, working for a Japanese cosmetic brand and launching the brand in Manhattan, New York. I have done makeup for celebrity clients, television, commercials, and many awards shows.
