About
Teaching is my greatest passion. I have been tutorng since I was 12 years old, when I began tutoring Algebra.
Later, as a high school math teacher and debate coach, my students achieved a 100% pass-rate on the New York state Regents exams, and were undefeated in their debate league.
In college, I studied Math, Finance, Economics, and Accounting. I graduated with a 3.95 GPA and am a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
After my teaching career, I began a corporate career in finance and accounting. My greatest successes have been when I have coached young professionals to develop their skills, so... I never really left teaching!
I have now left my full time corporate career and opened an independent business consulting firm. Now that my schedule is flexible, I am excited to once again pursue my greatest passion of all -- watching that "ah ha" light bulb turn on in a student's brain!

Yehuda is an amazing tutor! I met him thru a professional tutoring service and worked w/ him in 2019 when I took intermediate accounting. Best grade I ever got in a higher level accounting course. I told him how I wanted to learn the material, and he sat down w/ me and organized it accordingly. Very flexible and eager to answer questions. I honestly wish all tutors were like him. He also helped me w/ my resumé and cover letters. Very versatile!

I worked with Yehuda for about 6 months when I was in high school and he greatly improved my performance on the ACT. His methods were very helpful and his test-taking strategies that he taught me helped me improve in places that I didn't even think I needed to improve in. I first worked with Yehuda through a school program, but even after the program finished, Yehuda continued to reach out and cared about how I was performing and preparing, which is a sign of dedication to his students. Yehuda's help led to a 7 point increase from my first practice test to my final ACT, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a tutor, some extra help, or an academic mentor! While I am out of school and fully working, Yehuda continues to reach out and check in on me, which speaks to the care he has for his students and their success. Yehuda was a truly fantastic tutor and I cannot recommend him enough! I worked with him through my junior and senior year of high school to prepare for the ACT. Yehuda is a very personable tutor, who makes learning fun and engaging. He pays attention to every student’s unique skills and characteristics to make them as successful as possible. Whenever I had an issue or something I couldn’t figure out, he would go above and beyond to find ways to make sure that I understood it fully and completely. He teaches in a clear and entertaining manner, something that was instrumental to my level of engagement and understanding. He is able to figure the unique aspects and challenges a student has and works with them to solve those things. He adapts to the student and their specific learning needs. Yehuda was excellent. He responded to my request immediately. He was able to work with our very limited time schedule. He was extremely flexible. We really appreciated that. He taught my daughter in a relatable way where she understood and retained the material. He was able to cover a lot of material in a short time. Highly recommend him. We will use him again.

Yehuda is very experienced and really knows his stuff. Not only was he proficient in the areas we were working on, but adapted to my childs personality and needs. I could tell he really cared about my child and the goals she was trying to achieve. He is funny and down to earth which made a difficult subject easier. But, most of all, my child achieved the grade she needed and got into the college of her choice
