I recently hired Ogre Man Moving for a fairly large local move (went from a 2 story, 5 bedroom, 4,000 sq ft home in Cedar Park to a similarly sized home, just a few blocks from the first), and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the initial booking to the final box being placed in my new home, the entire process was smooth, professional, and as stress-free as moving can be.
The team arrived 10 min early on moving day(what an impressive way to arrive), and wow did they hit the ground running! The three men who comprised our crew, worked very efficiently, handling my possessions with care and attention- and this piece really meant a lot to me, as it communicates respect and competence. And have I mentioned that this is the first time I’ve ever moved without anything at all breaking? Not a single cup or picture frame or light bulb or coffee table was injured or lost in this move….felt like a small miracle and it was definitely a first on this end!
Communication with each other and with me was clear, their pricing transparent and really fair, and their work ethic truly outstanding. Another thing that stood out to me was the positive, can-do attitude and the baseline willingness to pitch in wherever needed & most helpful, even stepping up with last-minute packing and labeling.
As the hours pressed on, I was expecting that productivity would start to slip as the guys grew tired & hot, considering our intense Texas weather- but they NEVER seemed to lose that pep in their step, and it was amazing! They made what could have been a miserably chaotic & stressful day the best moving experience of my adult life. Having moved a total of 7 times in the last 10 years, I know the difference between good & bad moving experiences- and with Ogre Man Moving in the drivers seat, I got to experience a truly optimal, low-stress move and for such a great, fair price. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in need of dependable, top-tier moving services—for a FRACTION of what I would expect to pay for this level of service excellence…..you won’t be disappointed!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have two prices, we have a labor which includes a minimum of 1 moving up to 10 movers, tools, dollies, and everything we need for a successful move. This option is best if you need just packing or loading/unloading services. We also have a full service moving rate, which includes a minimum of two moving specialists and up to 10 movers, a moving truck, moving pads, dollies, tools, and everything we need for a successful move. This option is best for full home and or office moves. We also sell moving supplies at additional costs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide a follow up call after booking, where we go over the job details with you at length, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items as well as go over what's needed for a safe and speedy move. Then on moving day, we provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into the truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.

We are not like every other moving company you have come across, The owner personally has over 15 years in the field moving anything and everything, and have mastered the art of packing and moving. What separates us from other moving companies, besides being owner operated, is that we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, so no one is every in a training period. What this does, is ensure that you never have any training employees on a job, so your items will always be in the safest most qualified hands possible at all times.
