My girlfriend has a habit of not celebrating her birthdays because she works 60 hours a week and doesn’t want to “inconvenience others”. I contacted Yeraldin and asked her to help plan a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend. I cannot tell you how smoothly the event went. She made sure everything down to the napkins on the tables were the right fit for the event. Rest assured, I won’t be utilizing any other event planner in the city. Magical. Epic. Legendary— these are just a few of the words I would use to describe how my bachelorette party went because it was planned by Yeraldin Events. Yeraldin went above and beyond to ensure I would have the Bach I’ve always dreamed of. From the start, I told her the exact ‘mood’ I wanted to feel from this experience, and after giving her some of my must-haves for Medellín, we said our goodbyes and she hit the ground running. If you know Yeraldin, you know she makes true friends and cultivates solid relationships wherever she goes because she is so kind, genuine, and sweet— which consequently makes for amazing events coming in because Yeraldin chooses only the best, cost-effective, and genuinely good vendors that make it their primary aim to give the client the best possible experience ever because they also love and respect Yeraldin as a human. To be honest, I have trouble sometimes zeroing in on all the things Yeraldin is good at. We could start with how organized she is: she streamlines her processes and translates it all in the coolest, Layman’s terms one-stop-shop spreadsheet she leaves readily available for the client and their guests. I could talk about how effectively she divides and conquers tasks so it never seems overwhelming when you’re planning with her, and she always factors in things you won’t think about (like time, logistical stuff) so you won’t have to. I could rave about how Yeraldin always tries to get you the most bang for your buck, and how her options might be off the beaten path, but because she takes the time to get to know the locals and savor their culture, people always offer up the coolest suggestions and places to see that isn’t the cookie-cutter tourist experience because they love Her. And let’s not forget about how gracious, polite, kind, and meticulous she is. I had a guest whose luggage was lost when we first arrived which totally could have ruined the entire experience for my girlfriend but Yeraldin and her sister made sure to go with her TWICE to the airport (keep in mind it’s 40 minutes to an hour there) to ensure the luggage was tracked down. Afterwards, my friend told me privately how shocked she was that Yeraldin was so concerned, kind, and adamant about finding her luggage, and I just smiled at her and said, “Yeah I know, she’s the best right? That’s Yeraldin for you”. I just have to reiterate this— all I had to do was SHOW UP to my bachelorette party. That was it. I had worries, no doubts— absolutely no stress because everything was already planned to a T. I knew my Last Spin in Medellín was going to be legendary because Yeraldin was running it (and to be honest, I feel like she most especially KILLS it when it’s a Latin country), and those that also know me, know I expect a certain standard. And I think that leads me to another crucial, and unspoken nuance. A lot of us are in our mid-thirties— and, well, life is hectic for us all. I had moms, wives, singlin’ & minglin’, and girlfriends all come to this trip, 17 deep— but I think one of the most beautiful things about having Yeraldin plan my bachelorette is that because we honestly felt we were in good hands, the space she created allowed for all of us to truly kick back, relax, dance to our heart’s content, drink, and live carefree for the next 48 hours. You just can’t put a price on that. Once in a while I would catch myself looking around the amazing Airbnb, or in the chiva (Colombian party bus), or even at the restaurants Yeraldin would take us to, and I would take a moment to examine their faces— every single one of them— And every single one of them had pure happiness on their faces— it’s like we were taken back to a simpler time where the biggest worry was what outfit we’d wear tomorrow, or if we studied enough for a test— and I promise you this— We all had the most amazing time because we felt like we could let our hair down and be completely and utterly free— and it was the most magical experience ❤️ To close, it’s actually a privilege and pleasure to know and work with Yeraldin. She will always give you her very best, and trust me, her best is out of this world!
