FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on portions, proteins, customization, and the style of service. I offer meal packs, catering pans, individual meals, juice pouches, desserts, and fully customized themed items. If you need something personalized — graphics, labels, stickers — that’s available too. No hidden fees, and I’m straightforward about totals before anything is finalized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I get the details — guest count, dietary needs, vibe of the event, and any must-have items. Then I build a custom menu or meal plan, create visuals if needed (labels, graphics, stickers, etc.), and finalize the order. On the day of service, I’ll either deliver, set up buffet-style, or prep in-home depending on what you prefer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor’s and master’s in Social Work — which doesn’t technically equal “food,” but it taught me how to help people, understand their needs, and support them in real-life ways. Feeding people is one of the biggest ways you can make an impact, especially with food insecurity, so it actually ties into my work more than people realize. I also took culinary classes and competed throughout high school, and I worked in the food service industry for over seven years in every position — front of house, back of house, kitchen, catering, you name it. I’ve worked in soup kitchens and even volunteered in Peru, which gave me a deeper understanding of food, community, and service. On top of that, I built my business from the ground up, so I have years of hands-on experience with meal prepping, catering, nutrition planning, food safety, and working with athletes, gyms, schools, coffee shops, private clients, and specialty events. Everything I know has come from real work, real people, and real practice.
