Your inquiry came in very close to the event date, and when we discussed the details, the budget offered was significantly below the minimum required to execute the menu and service you requested. I communicated this clearly and professionally at the time. At no point was there a confirmed booking, deposit, or contract in place — and I did not “ghost” you. I responded promptly, explained the pricing requirements, and let you know I wouldn’t be able to take on the event under the proposed terms. I understand budget constraints happen, but I also have to ensure I can deliver quality food and service without compromising standards.
