FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Organizing rates are $100/hour with a 3-hour minimum to start. Certain projects can be quoted as a cost per project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: CONSULTATION To get started, there is a consultation with the client (virtual or in-person) to meet, look at the space(s), discuss needs and take any necessary measurements. It is during this time that we can understand the scope of the project. Step 2: SCHEDULING & SPACE PLANNING Depending on the scope of the project, dates are scheduled to get to work. For example, decluttering a closet can get scheduled sooner than organizing a kitchen, which requires space planning and the creation of organizational systems. Step 3: DAY OF PROJECT The day of your organizing project is always a fun day! There is lots going on and the end result always looks and feels great! Anything that is needed to organize the space will be brought day of and any and all donations (except food) will be taken away as part of our service. Any labeling that needs to happen is included in your pricing. (Does not include vinyl cut labels.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everything that I have done in my previous careers taught me everything I need to know to work as a Professional Organizer. From my high school and college years working in retail & food service (waitressing, catering, working in gourmet shops) to my careers in fashion and as a medical meeting planner, I have organized it all! When I am working in your kitchen, I know what makes sense where. My retail experience helps me to transform your closets. I am a creative thinker and problem-solver and I LOVE tackling big puzzles and projects. Some of my strongest aptitudes are spatial relations and abstract visualization. That means I can look at a space and almost immediately see how to make everything fit or work in a space! Don't know where to get started? I do.
