    I started with Austin Simply Fit in an attempt to get my fitness level back to where it was in the days of my youth. Having kids, working a desk job, and generally running the rat race had left me with the pot belly, sagging chest old man look that my grandfather sported. In my mid 30's, this simply had to go. So sessions began and I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to say that my trainers were tough, but it was bearable. Within weeks I started feeling more energetic throughout the day and sleeping better at night. I couldn't have done it on my own and for that I give a huge thanks to Austin Simply Fit!

    I joined Austin Simply Fit in October 2012 with the intention of losing a few pounds for my wedding the following March. Meryl Carey came up with a detailed plan to help me meet my goals, which I did, and I was so happy with the results that I continued to go to ASF even post-wedding. Meryl does a great job motivating, teaching proper form, and keeping the program fresh -- even after 9 months there I am constantly doing new exercises. It is a great atmosphere at the gym... not pretentious at all, people of all shapes and sizes, and they even let you pick the music! (Sorry anyone who works out at my time that does not like A$AP Rocky). For any fitness level, ASF is a great place to work out. I recommend Meryl highly, but all of the other trainers I see working there all look to be fully capable and professional.

    began working with David Polisky at the S Lamar location last year because my current fitness routine wasn't working. I was spending 1-2 hours in the gym four days a week, seeing very little results. As a 47 year old who has been an athlete her entire life I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. The harder I worked, the more pain I experienced; my frustration level was through the roof. What worked for me in my 20's and 30's was no longer affective and I felt that I was doing long-term damage to my lower back. I began researching online and remembered seeing ASF mentioned in Austin "Austin Fit Magazine". I was intrigued by their philosophy of offering an intense 30-minute program to improve core strength while increasing lean muscle. I was sold! After my first session with David I saw and felt the results. David's incredible understanding of exercise physiology combined with his ability to motivate is unsurpassed. He has a keen ability to watch closely to your body's muscle response and adjust accordingly. No two training sessions are ever alike. David not only got me into great shape, but also worked with my Physical Therapist in customizing workouts post knee surgery this past January. I highly recommend David Polisky and the Austin Simply Fit gym. If you are looking for maximum results in the shortest amount of time you need to try ASF. You will not be disappointed!

    I trained at Austin Simply Fit for 5 months and loved every minute. My trainer, David, was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and wonderful to work with. I feel like it was worth my time and effort and has made me more in tune with my health and fitness. I will absolutely be using Austin Simply Fit going forward and would recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. It's a great gym and it promotes a healthy and fit lifestyle!

    I have been working out with Mark at Austin Simply Fit for a month now and think he is an amazing trainer! He offers just the right amount of push and motivation without being in my face. I appreciate that! I am coming back from an injury and have seen drastic improvement since I started working out with Mark. He has gone above and beyond to make sure I get a great work out, while compensating for my lack of mobility in my right arm. The environment at Austin Simply Fit is great - non intimidating and nice staff. Anyone at any level of fitness will feel comfortable there. It is nice to have the one-on-one training attention!

    I started going to Austin Simply Fit and working with Mark around August of this year. By far it has been one of the best experiences and I only wish I had started sooner. I had decided to get fit and healthy due to plaguing tendonitis in my shoulder and was tired of wearing 00 pants, weighing 98 lbs (I'm 5'5) and having no shape. For me gaining weight has always been an issue for me since I was young. I tried everything to gain weight and I know everyone's advice about eating chips and ice cream was not the solution. After having a consultation with Mark and 4 months later, I have gained 15 lbs! That is alot for me and I actually have thighs, butt and shape! It has taken work and Mark is very smart and takes what he does seriously. He is always open with his communication about how I am doing, how I feel and gives realistic goals and expectations from his training which I believe is the best way to get good long lasting results. My tendonitis is gone, I feel the most healthiest in my life and my self-esteem has grown so much. I believe, now more then ever, that health should be one of the most important things in your life to take care of. Mark has changed not only my body but has helped me overcome mental blocks. He motivates and builds confidence in you and has shown me many times that my body can do so much more than what I think it can. Lifting 1.5x my body weight is more than amazing. Mark has also been very understanding and supportive when my mother was diagnosis recently with cancer. He has made an effort to work with me and ensure that I keep up with my training and eating habits and has given me his comforting words. Austin Simply Fit is a great place and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

    I absolutely love Austin Simply Fit. I recently started up by training with Mark and he's great. He really knows what he's talking about and I always feel like I get to see my full potential when I'm working with him. He's an excellent motivator and I saw results in just a couple of weeks! I really feel like I'm getting more than my money's worth and I can't wait to get back to training!

    I am a breat cancer survivor who finished by treatment in July. I have had no energy or stamia. With the help of Mark Rogers, my trainer, I am getting my energy and stamia back. My husband has joined me and we go twice a week. We look forward to going. We are both in our 60's. It is never too late. I highly recommend Austin Simply Fit for those who are trying to get better and live longer.

    I can't say enough good things about Mark Rogers and Austin Simply Fit! It is a great private gym with a personal flare where Mark has managed to create an energetic, fun and positive environment. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. They explain each exercise thoroughly, with an emphasis on correct form to maximize results and prevent injuries. Mark developed a specialized program for me and while he doesn't let me slack off, he never pushes me past my abilities. I always feel like I got an incredible work out, after which I have energy, stamina, and a positive outlook! But the most important thing to me is the personal attention the trainers give and knowing that they always having your best interest at heart. Bottom line, this place rocks...whether you are big, little, young, old, never worked out before or training for an intense really doesn't can find results here. Enough gushing: I highly recommend Austin Simply Fit to anyone, of any fitness level. It will change your life and give you results. Check it out!

    As someone who hates to workout but know it's necessary for my health and well being... Austin Simply Fit is "simply" put the best place for me. The 30 minute workout is ideal and just when I think I can't or don't want to do anything else it's over!! I know that may sound odd for some people but believe me when I say it is not an easy 30 minutes. I feel like I get as much, if not more done than when I've worked with a trainer for an hour in the past. Mark is great, really listens to what I say is going on with my body and works to help make me successful in my work outs.

Pricing varies according to goals, which will determine the frequency of your workouts. Frequency and duration of commitment will affect the rate per session.

I participate in Continuing Education activities multiple times throughout the year and as often as opportunity allows.

I like to attract and maintain positive relationships in which others will receive a lifetime of benefits.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients understand the importance of their health, but may lack the desire or knowledge to further better it. Therefore, most of my clients seek general fitness and well being. However, their returns are far greater that what they are actually seeking.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
11 pounds of lean mass added in 6 months. Consistently twice a week for 30 minutes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be ready to make a lifestyle change and be ready to continually be educated.
