Exercising doesn't come easy, so lets build a program that works for you! As an Attainable Growth client, you can expect many perks. Together, we will build a program to work around your schedule and goals. Not only will you get personalized sessions with me, you will receive a carefully written program to be completed at home, on your time. Every four weeks, we will take body composition measurements including weight, body fat, girth circumference measurements and pictures! If you are motivated towards your goals, we also offer free food accountability assessment. While training with Attainable Growth, LLC., not only are you helping to support local business, you are training in a private environment. This works great for clients who prefer to get fit in private and avoid the "box-gym" environment. Having a background in psychology, I have a great insight into motivation and drive. This allows me to help my clients on a deeper level. Being healthy is a lifestyle and does not end with your sessions with me. Let's work together and build a better life for you, on your standards! I first started working with Rachel in January of 2014. I was about 40 lbs overweight, I had been dealing with a back issue for the past 9 months, with no real resolve after seeing a PT and a massage therapist for a few months. I was fat, out of shape, and new I had to make a change, or else things would spiral downward from here. When my wife started making comments about how I hadn’t been as involved with the kids on the weekend like I had in the past, that was the wakeup call I needed. Right away, I knew Rachel was the right choice for me. Her calm, sensitive, friendly but firm demeanor was exactly what I needed in a health and fitness coach. On the first day, we took baseline measurements, and then we got to working right away! Her strength circuits really helped get my heart rate pumping, and my muscles firing! The studio environment had more than enough equipment for my goals… I was really surprised by the range of exercise tools they had available. Progress was slow the first few weeks, but Rachel reassured me that much of what changes at the start of a fitness program is neural and hormonal. She used the analogy that we were setting the fire to the right intensity to really allow the stage for change to occur. Low and behold, I kept up with the program, did my homework, and lost 10 lbs over the following month! It has now been almost 6 months of working with Rachel, and I am down 27 lbs, and have kept it off successfully! Rachel has helped me build healthy habits into my lifestyle, which include 1 traditional cardio workout, and 4 strength circuits/week, two of which are 60 minutes with her, and two 30 minute workouts on my own. We also focused heavily on my diet, cutting out several terrible habits that were blocking my progress, and slowly adding in new ones over time. While it took work, and an honest look at my current lifestyle, after some time, and a daily, dedicated effort, I can tell you I am such a happier person now as a result. I go to the park with my kids several times a week, and I’m not exhausted after we’re done! I would recommend Rachel to anyone who is serious about making a permanent lifestyle change for the better. She certainly helped me out with mine!

Rachel is simply amazing! She knows her exercises very well. She is patient and very willing to accommodate any needs. But the best part about her is her upbeat attitude and encouragement she provides. You get what you put into any workout and Rachel is there to guide you the whole way!

I first heard about Rachel from a friend of mine who lives in Austin. I wasn’t really sure if she would want to work with me since I do not live ANYWHERE near her and there would be no real opportunity for us to work out together. But after I contacted Rachel, she seemed really game for the challenge that I presented her. We started with a few phone calls to discuss the goals of both of us while working together. She asked me what my main goals were for getting in shape, and I told her about my lifestyle. I am a mother of a 3 year old who has had to battle cancer in the last 2 years, so my physical health is nowhere near where it used to be. I needed a simple program that I could work around my son’s schedule and not feel overwhelmed with my current weakness as I work my way back to being healthy. Rachel started me with a few simple daily changes that quickly got me started. As I progress, she has come up with new goals as well as really effective work outs that challenge me, but do not require me to spend hours working at it. In just under 3 months I have lost 20 pounds and several inches, most of them from my stomach! I couldn’t be happier with Rachel and the relationship we have developed, despite working over such a huge distance. She has encouraged me to keep going and to try new things, and to really reach for my goals, and I have found that having someone to be accountable to has helped keep me motivated. I would recommend Rachel to anyone who asks, as long as they are willing to work over a distance.

Rachel taught me how to lose weight the old fashioned way--through diet and exercise! I can't tell you how much I've benefitted from her guidance in workouts and support with nutrition and lifestyle choices. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone who's looking to commit themselves to a lifestyle change that is both attainable and challenging. Rachel will keep you on track and provide you with positive energy through the process!
