- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down for half an hour with each new client and go over what goals they hope to achieve and in what time frame. We go over what a client eats on a normal day and if they have any history of injury I should be aware of. I then help set goals that we can achieve in a realistic time frame based on number of sessions per week if the client follows a consistent training and basic nutrition program. The last half hour of that initial assessment is used to put the client through a total body circuit training workout. This is used to determine overall fitness level and to establish a baseline for each client that we can work off of and improve. After the assessment is complete each client will have a clear road map of what they need to do on a consistent basis in order to reach their health and fitness goals with the guidance and motivation that a personal trainer can bring. It is important to understand that no two clients are the same. As a trainer it is my responsibility to help find out what motivates each and every client and make sure the client gets the best out of each session. Communication is key and we will work as a team to make sure we overcome any hurdles or plateaus on your fitness journey.
