Emily Murray

I grew up in Rochester, NY, home of the Eastman School of Music where I was instructed in piano at Manuel’s Music Studio (now Rochester Area Music Project) for the duration of my childhood, with a particular gift in sight-reading music. Although childhood me had dreamt of being a professional pianist, my focuses quickly shifted to other aspects of the music industry. Chasing my passion for working live music events, I made the move to Austin, TX in 2018. Currently, I am a student at Austin Community College pursuing a degree in Music Business, Performance, and Technology. I feel particularly well-suited to teach children of all levels and abilities. - including children who are in need of special attention due to learning differences or disabilities. I, myself, am on the autism spectrum (although mostly unnoticed). I will aim to customize & tailor the learning experience based on you and/or your child’s needs to create a conducive environment for learning!
