Introduction: Welcome to Little Heart! My name is Shuya Hsieh. I am originally from Taiwan. I started my music journey since I was 4 years old. I had won or been well placed in many piano / flute competitions since I was about 10. Out of these, my proudest moment came when I represented Taiwan at Mozart Music Festival in Italy. I received my music education and obtained my Master’s degree in piano performance and music education in Taiwan. My major is piano performance, and my minor is flute. I teach piano, flute and music theory. I'm a professional piano accompanist as well. Additionally, I'm well versed in church music (piano/flute). I'm a MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) I'm a Member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA); I'm a Member of National Guild of Piano Teachers (American College of Musicians) I specialize in educating intermediate to advanced piano students. I'm also experienced at teaching beginners. I also teach flute students from age 8 and up.

I'm charging $40/30min .
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will have an interview before accepting the student. I will help the potential student go over my studio policy - which does have time commitment. Once that policies are agreed upon, we can then begin formal lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in music academy for gifted and talented since I was young. I eventually received my BA and MA in piano performance.
