There are so many facets to a real estate transaction. It is SO important to have a professional helping you who can make the entire transaction go smoothly; marketing your home, negotiating the contract (closing costs, survey, home warranties, closing times, earnest money, option periods, etc), negotiating repairs, managing the contract through the escrow period and making sure the lender is on track for closing. Often times one Realtor ends up babysitting the transaction through it's entirety to make sure everything is done and that there can be an on time closing.
