About
12th Street Sound was designed by an internationally-known architect, and features spacious and expertly-dimensioned recording areas, and an extremely accurate control room. The entire facility is thoughtfully engineered, with great sight-lines, silent HVAC, clean and filtered electricity, and extensive underground connections between its many rooms. In addition to its outstanding technical specifications, the studio is comfortable and (most importantly) inspiring. We enjoy working with both professionals and with those who are new to the recording process.

Wow, when we walked into the studio it was beautiful. Very well done, professional, and clean. Our recording night was more for fun - a jam session! Yet, the recordings came out BEAUTIFULLY and Kevin was so nice in us sort of goofing off for a relaxed night. All in all, it was AWESOME. I highly recommend them and we will be using them again in the future.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We often discount the rate depending on the nature of the project and the number of days booked.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There is an enormous difference between a professionally designed studio and a spare bedroom with a microphone and some software. Bedroom "studios" are wonderful things, but they are limited when it comes to tracking drums, recording live bands all together, etc.
