FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sometimes people will ask "what is the least I can expect to pay for a basic video" or other multi-media service? The answer is it entirely depends on a range of factors unique to the project... for basic video services alone, you can expect a range that begins around $300-$800 and can go up from there quite a bit. Depending on the service required and the outcome desired, the hourly rate can range from $35/hr to $90/hr for extensive, intensive, or technical jobs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Discover project requirements. Please have all timelines/locations/requirements in mind for all the moments/action/media you want captured or created. The importance of logistics in a project can not be understated. A good plan and communication will go a long way. 2. Plan the project. I will formulate a production plan based on your input and objectives. This will include an estimate of all work to be accomplished. This will also serve as our contract, which will require your verbal agreement. 3. Execute the plan, with opportunities for corrections and feedback 4. Deliver results
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been both professionally and self trained in a range of multi-media information systems. I like to experiment and play with the tools for creativity in my environment. I enjoy incorporating new techniques, textures, and visualizations into new projects, so each creation has a personalized feel. I use quality gear and have taken the time to refine my skills in incredibly diverse environments, including low and no light situations. I have operated in alkaline deserts, caves, tropics, and the wilderness.
