FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We focus on larger exterior projects to ensure we can deliver the level of quality and service we’re known for. As a result, we do have minimum project sizes: Roofing & Siding: Typically $5,000 minimum For siding, this is usually around 400 sq ft or more Windows: $2,500 minimum This is generally about two standard-size windows Outdoor Living Projects: $7,500 minimum Every home and project is unique, so pricing ultimately depends on materials, scope, and complexity. We provide detailed, transparent estimates after an in-person evaluation so you know exactly what to expect. Financing options may be available for qualified homeowners.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most customers reach out to us through various channels — phone, online platforms, or referrals — and explain what they’re looking to have done. From there, we ask specific, targeted questions to better understand the scope of the project and make sure we’re a great fit for their needs. Once we confirm it’s a good match, we schedule an in-person appointment to evaluate the property. During that visit, we assess the condition, discuss options, and answer any questions. After the evaluation, we provide a clear, detailed quote outlining the recommended scope of work. If the proposal is approved, we move forward by finalizing materials, coordinating logistics, and placing the project on our production schedule. Throughout the process, we keep communication open so the customer knows exactly what to expect from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At JP Exteriors, our crews are experienced exterior specialists who are trained in roofing systems, siding installation, window and door replacement, and structural exterior upgrades. Our team follows manufacturer installation guidelines and local building codes to ensure every project meets high performance and durability standards — especially for Texas weather conditions like hail, wind, and extreme heat. We also work closely with leading manufacturers and stay up to date on best practices and product advancements so our installations are done correctly and maintain full warranty compliance. For customers planning larger exterior transformations, we also offer architectural design support when needed. This helps homeowners visualize changes, coordinate materials and colors, and ensure the finished result aligns with both structural requirements and aesthetic goals.
