Guitar lessons with Noel through Reverb, fantastic! Super pleased:)
I have enrolled my 6 year old for violin lessons with Dolce Studio. Two Lessons and my son has taken a liking to the instrument and the teacher Ms.Emily is so encouraging & supportive. She knows how to draw out my son who can be very reluctant to try in the face of a difficult task. Thanks to the wonderful Brenda Bedell for all the initial ground work in setting up the violin teacher for us! Highly recommend the studio for music lessons.
Bridget is a professional in al senses she loves to teach we comunicación. And her work ethic is impressive. I highly recommend her as a violin teacher!
Kristen is a very kind and responsible piano teacher and always willing to help and answers all my inquiries. I trust her.
Andrew is flexible in terms of his time and in terms of meeting the student where they are. That said, he is also good about creating firm assignments for each lesson. We have enjoyed learning violin - our first foray into music - with Andrew.
Craig is a violin teacher with many years' experience ( he started playing violin in grade school) and is very easy to be around. I think he knows how to help a serious student get where he or she wants to go.
So far, and I haven't started my first lesson yet, they are very easy to work with and very flexible with my schedule.
As an adult starting piano lessons again after (eep!) 3 decades, I have to say that studying at McLaughlin School of Music has been a very gratifying experience. My teacher David Mesquitic has just the right touch. He is able to both encourage and challenge someone like me who has "just enough" knowledge to be dangerous but not enough to have mastered certain essential concepts for pop/jazz piano. Huge props to Matt McLaughlin as well. He has created a very warm and welcoming space in which to take lessons and definitely paired me with right teacher. I am thrilled to have found the McLaughlin School.
Many violin teachers focus on a single aspect of teaching; this may be technique, or songs as quickly as possible. My program balances all aspects of playing including beautiful movement, literacy, and artistic expression. My teaching methods are discovery based, so students are actively engaged in what they are learning. This allows them to connect more deeply with their violin study and gain true mastery.
