- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, for officiant service, usually my quote includes: My travel within 25-30 miles of my residence, (North Austin) Rehearsal Wedding Date Vow Samples Filing of the license afterwards, usually on the first business day after wedding. Travel outside 25 miles can be available as well as I can arrange for obtaining certified copies of your license from the court clerk if needed quickly. I'm also an exceptionally good vocalist, and have on occasion been asked to sing at a wedding. This is a very unique touch for a wedding, to have the officiant sing a song for the couple as they are about to wed....so ask me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For officiant services, we often will talk on the phone so that I can find out what type of service they are looking for, and see what kind of samples they would like have, and what they'd like included in it, and if there's anything special they want in it. I'll send them out and then we trade changes back & forth and then meet a few times, sometimes over coffee, or drinks, or even a light meal. Then more contact especially as the wedding grows closer, sometimes they will want me at the rehearsal, sometimes not.
