- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I do. I subscribe to professional sites that keep me up to date with the writing in various fields. I also tutor graduate and elementary level students in writing. As part of these duties I am required to register with governmental authorities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was tired of dealing with multiple and competing interests whether in customer service or an office atmosphere. I wanted to bend all of my efforts toward one client at a time. And it seemed that a lot of people struggle with writing. I wanted to help out doing something that comes easily to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs involve letters requesting additional information about a person, topic, or location. My next most common jobs are editing documents of all lengths and types. Lastly, I get requests for the ceasing of business or personal relationships.
