I had Johnny and his brother move and repair a NEW fence and gates that were not installed properly by another contractor. The two big gates were sagging due to not being braced properly. I am very happy with the job they did. I will use them again on another old fence section I need to have replaced.
Rosalio and his crew did a lot of work at my condo this summer. They did the demo, removed the popcorn ceiling and retextured the entire space, they added new baseboards and trim and Painted everything. I was acting as contractor, so the project took longer than planned, he was patient and always available when I was ready for the next phase I needed him to do. There were a few bumps in the road, but he made it right. The one thing I really appreciated is that he always answered the phone when I called. I chose him because of all the good reviews he had here on TT. He is a man of integrity. I am very happy I chose him to work for me. I would highly recommend Gamez Drywall.
Medina is a reliable roofing and construction agency. I recomend their services as they do what they promise to do. Very sincere approach and dedicated services. Wush them good luck. Frixmon Micheal Akshay Tax Info@akshaytax.com
Mr. Pichardo and his team did a fantastic job. From removing old siding, installing new siding, frame repair, sealing the perimeter of a garage that leaks, painting, sheetrock, gutters, complex pllumbing work (running new lines-pvc/copper, valves, etc). He is good at finding solutions when there is not always an easy fix. I've dealt with quite a few construction related contractors over the years and I would recommend him to anyone, without hesitation. He also plays guitar and sings very well. Five stars all day.
My roof suffered some hail damage last year and after filing a claim with my insurance company, I started searching for reputable roofers/general contractors. I reached out with my inquiry on Thumbtack and Matt Snow was one of 5 contractors that reached out to me promptly. Of the contractors I met with, Matt quickly made it to the top of my list. His courteousness, professionalism and reasonable estimate gave me just the confidence I needed to make my decision on which contractor to work with. Not knowing much of anything about roofing, it was a bit daunting to choose a contractor in the first place but Matt kept things simple. Not only did he provide a free inspection/estimate but sat down with me and reviewed the insurance claim, answering any questions/concerns I had. He also walked me through anything I didn't understand about the claim and at no time made me feel obligated to his business. The deadline for my claim was just a few weeks away and I was very concerned about the amount of work and time it would take for my roof to be completed and for my claim deadline to be met. Matt understood my sense of urgency and communicated his availability to me as well as providing me an accurate detail of how long it would take for the work to be completed. On the day of the job, his fellow contractors (he works with a team of two others) showed up promptly at 7:30 a.m. and started the work. I dealt with Matt directly, from start to finish of the project, and I appreciated there being no confusion or need to repeat myself to anyone else. I was charged for the roof after work on it had been started and Matt checked in a couple times throughout the day (it was a one day job) to keep me posted. Matt and his team are very reliable in my experience and wholly professional. Professionalism with courtesy go a long way in my book and Matt definitely defines that. This is an honest, transparent (reasonable rates and itemized invoice) and hard-working business that definitely wants to earn their customer's loyalty as much as their monetary business. My roof was a small job that didn't require a lot of hands but Matt and his team of two worked around the clock and delivered. I could hear them on the roof for the duration of the work and have no doubt as to how dedicated they are to getting the job done and done well! I also got the impression that no job is too big or too small to have Matt's full attention and dedication. Matt will work with your time, budget, claim and concerns. I highly recommend City Wide General Contracting and can't say enough great things about Matt and his team. This is a lengthy review but I wanted to cover all the bases of what I look for when hiring an individual/business. I am a first time homeowner and had no personal/direct experience with property damage and insurance claims prior to this. Matt put my mind at ease and made this process a bit more pain-free. I hope this review will be very helpful to anyone who is like me and wants to ease some of the stress that goes along with seeking reliable, reputable and courteous businesses. If you need roof repair or any General Contracting work, definitely consult with Matt Snow and City Wide General Contracting.
Gustavo and his crew didn't outstanding job. He was less expensive than any other contractor and was very professional. After all the work was done the work area was cleaner than when they got there and the work was flawless
I highly recommend B&K Roofing and Construction. They are very professional and caring. The work they do is excellent and the price is competitive. They really care about the quality of their work and customer service. I will use them for all my construction needs in the future!
This was a multi-project event. Over 200' of cedar fencing with 12' drive and a walk gate, and a 10' x 20' color impregnated patio and walkways with a textured surface imprint. I received numerous quotes, and Ascot Fence was right in the middle of them all, and the best overall when valid recommendations they provided for footings were implemented, and the fact they included the permit cost and did the legwork for Fort Worth permitting. I chose to finish the patio cover myself, for which the permit is valid for concrete and cover, to be completed within 6 months. The other contractors providing quotes never asked about my plans for a cover, which requires additional footings beneath the slab, not just a slab. Had I gone with another contractor I seriously considered first, I would have had a nice patio but not met the requirements for the cover. I would then have had to rip it out and start over. Total cost involved made Ascot the best all around deal! There were long weather delays and a couple of hiccups along the way caused by concrete suppliers, which were resolved by Andre. Have received numerous walk-by/drive-by compliments on the appearance of the fence, and the patio looks fine also (not exposed for walk-by comments). One neighbor asked if I won the lotto, or something! I will stain the fence myself once given a chance to dry properly, and it should look even better. The crews worked fast and seemed to know their assigned duties, so actual work time was only 2-2 1/2 days, total, spread over 2 weeks. I would hire Ascot Fence again, and will in the future for the back 190' of fence (assuming prices are still in the ballpark).
We had Emmanuel complete a bathroom project for us. We originally planned to have our shower retiled, but Emmanuel and his partner René were thorough in their deconstruction and detected a much larger issue. We ended up having water damage in the subfloor and walls, requiring basically a complete overhaul of the bathroom. Emmanuel was understanding and flexible with us when the project scope got larger than what we had initially budgeted for. We basically had them do an entire bathroom remodel. Their quality of work is impeccable, and they do things the right way without cutting corners. They do not subcontract anything out, so you know who is going to be working on your entire project. Most of all though, Emmanuel and René displayed a great amount of honesty and integrity, something that is hard to find in contractors these days. They went above and beyond what they said they were going to do, and they won't stop until it's right. They committed to the job and didn't work another project until ours was complete. I plan to use them for all of the jobs that come up for me in the future.
The job was to texture our remodeled master bathroom. Great care taken to ensure that all existing cabinets, shower, tub, toilet and floor was covered and protected. Since the job was required as soon as possible, DJ's offered to do the job on a Sunday which was above and beyond what was expected. I was also pleased with the cost of the project which was very reasonable. I will be recommending others to DJ's Construction Company for their professional services.
I got the tile work done the following Monday right on time and the work was done very well. I would highly recommend Dynamo Construction & Remodeling. The work was done high quality and very professionally.
Robert did a great job on a tight schedule and fair price. Blue Star Paint & Construction will be doing a lot more work for me in the future.
My project is about 85% complete, but I didn't want to hesitate writing my review about my experience so far with CJ and Carsa Construction. From the beginning, every person I have worked with has been thorough, responsive, and timely (whether it be CJ or his partners). As a general contractor, CJ excels in his ability to proactive communicate and respond to every area of detail--it is a quality hard to find in my experience having remodeling projects completed in the past. Even further, his entire team has embodied the utmost level of professionalism, care, and attention to my home--every night they have ensured they clean up after the day's work, and they are proactively thoughtful throughout the project to communicate openly and transparently with me on every level to ensure I am made aware of any items of discussion immediately (which is part of the process when you remodel, as you find things along the way). In a short period of time, I have grown to trust his team implicitly--they arrive promptly, they are courteous that I work at home, they are completely respectful of the most simple things (like asking me if it's Ok to eat lunch inside on a cold day), and I trust leaving them in my home when I am not here. Being impressed puts it very lightly with this team, and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every person on the team. While still a few odds / ends to complete, I came home this evening to find that the team had literally cleaned almost every inch of my bathroom (after the remodel), and it was obviously they even started dusting off some of my bedroom furniture (that had understood dust created from the work). This team is remarkable. Communication, Communication, and Communication--they obviously understand and respect it, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing a quality, trustworthy, and honest team for your major home projects.
Had an outstanding and seamless experience with Melven General Contracting. Aaron came in for the free estimate the same day I put the request out on Thumbtack and explained the process very clearly. He took care of negotiating with my insurance adjuster, replaced my roof and fixed the internal leak damage very quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.
Juarez & Son's Cabinetry was very professional in the assessment of the cabinet problems. Their work was excellent. They were on time, courteous, and knew how to fix the problems presented to them. I would definitely use them again and given their company name and contact information to others who have cabinet or general carpentry work to be done.
Did what he said he would do, stuck to his estimate and did excellent work and showed up daily. That is a first for me with any contractor in this state. I like Tim!!!
Very very pleased with the services that we've received from Double C Services. They initially were contacted to remodel two bathrooms in our property, but upon meeting Carlos, his professionalism and the great caliber of work that we knew we were going to get lead us to hire him for many additional projects - virtually an entire home remodel. We have not been disappointed with them since and plan to use them for a long time as our designated contractors. Highly recommend!
The quality of work was excellent and the price was very fair. There was some unforeseen delays due to both of us but what speaks volumes is what someone does when things go wrong. They kept their cool, worked on the weekend to catch up and kept to his price as originally quoted. I would recommend them to anyone as a contractor who does a great job and keep their pricing commitments. The texture and removed furr downs areas just has to be painted but it was blended in seamlessly to the existing texture.
Ive dealt with a lot of contractors while working in the Apartment business, and I can tell you one thing that seperates Cardona Construction from the others is their integrity and attention to detail. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for construction needs!
I was very impressed with the way Carlos handled my home addition, kitchen remodel and living space update. I had a vision of how I wanted it done, he listened and made it all happen with a few extras along the way. I did have issues with some of the work by the sub-contractors which lead to phone calls to Carlos. He did address them each time. I was told a manager would be on site at some point each day, however, that did not happen. The sub-contractors did clean up at the end of each day. Over all, the kitchen is beautiful and the new living space is amazing!
After interviewing several contractors, and not being impressed, we found John of JJCS. We met and within three hours he was at our house to discuss our plans. We had been planning the remodel of our house, circa 1910, for almost a year. My wife drew up plans of the updates and changes-master bedroom and bath, office and kitchen. John was open to all suggestions and willing to try whatever we wished. Being an older house many things needed to be addressed; insulation, wood supports, flooring, siding, leveling of rooms and installation of new windows and doors. In addition the following upgrades were necessary; electrical, plumbing, HVAC and installation of a tankless water heater. On the rear of the house a new covered porch was built accessible from the master bedroom via french doors. We plan on using JJCS again for additional upgrades as soon as the weather permits.
