This company moved us just fine. On time and friendly drivers. Unfortunately they took our office hand-truck/Dolly and failed to return it after 2 months we still cant get them to deliver it. Just today the manager calls and said can you give us directions to your office so we can return it. I explained to them there have this new technology with GPS and Apps like WAZE, google maps, etc.... where it will give you turn by turn directions and show you or your drivers how to get from where you are to our office. in 2 months they keep saying they are on their way but my Hand-truck still hasn't been returned. horrible management to tell a customers after 2 months that they don't have directions to find your building or office.

This was the worst experience with movers I've ever had and I've moved a lot. Two crews failed to come. Our move eads scheduled from 8-10 am. The third crew finally arrived away 12:30 yet one person short. Then the other crew who was supposed to be moving the stuff out of the other location so my brothers stuff could be moved in weren't on their way till 5 pm. We had to just use the 2 man crew to move the other stuff out. That was like 3 crews that didn't show up. Then they tried to charge me for a 3 person crew. I was put on hold in total for more than an hour. The manager said he was sorry and would give me a discount and fix it.... but they needed to make money too. Then my father called and said if they didn't fix this they were going to get a bad review. I was then called and told they didn't appreciate my father's threat. I'm sorry but it's not a threat. Reviews are never too warn people and them getting all their friends to post ask these fake reviews is awful. Oh and guess what their discount was. No tax. what a joke. I paid the $850 but they are not a professional moving company. Who ever owns and runs this business does a poor job and relies on good employees to appease the customers. The only good thing I can say was the 2 man crew were amazing. That is literally it. As a business owner I would never ever ever in my life tell a customer well we need to earn money too after making multiple big mistakes. They even tried to blame me. It was ridiculous. I'd rather pay 2 times the amount i paid for better service. I would have been better off hiring my own people and renting a truck. It would have been less of a hassel.

Do NOT use D Town Movers!! They completely screwed my family and I. Booked a month ago and paid a deposit to be able to move today between 4-7. I called because they hadn't showed up at 4 and she stated that in the fine print it's an arrival window of 4-7, but they are behind schedule and wont be there until 6. At 5 they call and say they might not be there until 830 or 9 and it's best to push the move to tomorrow morning! Are you kidding me?!? I'm in a completely packed apartment with no services connected except electricity and my fiance and his kids are at the house waiting for us, so now we had to find movers last minute and we probably wont be moved in until 12AM!! Worst experience ever in all my 20+ moves!!! BEBO Movers saved us!!

Michelle, We apologize on behalf of the the negative experience you encountered with D Town Movers. However, I have records of communication from booking your move to yesterday stating we were experiencing delays do to Fridays bad weather had pushed our moves back. Upon booking, it is made very aware to EVERY customer that they will receive a call approximately 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled move date. A lot of planning and logistics is involved when running a Moving Company and we simply can not provide a one hour window for arrival, as we are not responsible for showing up late due to weather increments, traffic, road work, etc. We provide a 3 hour window for a time of arrival, which will typically be between 4-7 pm unless there are certain restrictions, in which your case there was. Once again, We appreciate your insight and as we always do, will use that insight as we evolve and grow as a company. We sure hope you'll give us another chance to wow you in the future. Even if something does not go exactly as planned, we always do our best to leave our clients happy and satisfied because we truly care about you.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    If any moving company is offering a 2 man crew, pass. When hiring a moving company a 3 man crew is the only way to go. A 2 man crew might be cheaper at an hourly rate but it will take considerably longer. Most moving companies use a 2 man crew so they can make the most money out of each customer.
