The company was responsive and kept me updated on arrival. The 2 guys were very respectful and extremely diligent in protecting the furniture. Move went smoothly and nothing was damaged. Highly recommend!

Excellent moving company. My original mover cancelled on me 2 days before my scheduled move and Brother Bear responded the same night when I sent my info to them on Thumbtack. My move time got shifted by a few hours but, it was on Labor Day weekend so I understood the logistics of moving on a long weekend. The moving team showed up on time and were very quick and helpful to load all my boxes and also help pack some of my apartment items. Overall, highly recommended due to polite customer service and quality service of those in the field.

These three young men were amazing! They arrived ready to work and boy did we have work for them lol. Not only did they help with loading my moving Pod they also helped with junk removal of some furniture and appliances that didn’t make the cut. They expertly wrapped my TVs and washer and dryer so they don’t get damaged in the move and they had the tools to break down bed frames and wall mounts. They really made this part of my move easy-peasy! Thanks again and if we ever need your services again I will not hesitate to reach out to you! And if I know someone who needs your services I will definitely recommend you to them!

The movers did a good job not great but good. The lead mover hinted at expectations of a tip the minute he said hello- I always tip my movers well but them asking for it upfront is a turn-off. And even though we had agreed upon a fixed rate upfront Ryan came back and added charges at the end which was a real turn-off. It soured the entire transaction. Supposedly the extra charges were for wrapping my mirrors/ pictures etc but my understanding was this was included. The lead guy implied that coming back at the end and asking for more money was the norm. He said this is the way Ryan does business regularly. My husband and I move every couple of years and these guys did not do anything that our other movers in the past didn't do as far as wrapping and I have never had a company charge me more at the end ever. After all an agreement is an agreement, or at least it should be in the professional world. Also this was the most I've ever had to pay for moving- considerably more. The invoice was sent electronically and after moving all day it just wasn't worth the hassle to try and argue about it instead I just took it out of what I would have tipped- I normally tip movers well but this upcharge tactic hacked me off and spoiled everything. I made it clear to the workers that their boss cost them the great tip they had coming and told them if I were them I would find another employer because I wouldn't work for someone who doesn't keep their word. And I made sure they understood that he cost them money. These guys were ok. they didn't break or steal my stuff - they were polite and worked at a good pace. However, I've had way better movers that charged much less and didn't use this upcharge tactic at the end. I would never hire them again because of the way they do business. They did a good job of wrapping and packing but left a lot to be desired on the unpacking and setting things up.
