I was quite leary about training again since I have a very bad knee issue, BUT, Joel knew exactly how to work with this issue. I've worked with 5 different personal trainers in the last 7 or so years and Joel is hands down the best, most creative trainer I've experienced! Joel Is knowledgeable, kind but tough at the same time...the perfect balance! Joel is hardworking, pleasant and innovative. He knows a lot about anatomy and I feel much stronger already. I am able to do so much more than I was 2 months ago! Thanks Joel :)

If I could give 10 stars I would! Joel is professional, knowledgeable in his craft, and very friendly. He’s taken my workouts to a whole new level & has really helped me fast track my goals. If you’re looking for a trainer then please look no further. He makes every session fun, while making sure the safety of your body and form is taken into account. For me that’s what really makes him different than other trainers I’ve had. He’s the best !

Joel is a great trainer! I’ve been working with him for about 3 months and and he’s been instrumental in helping me create a healthier lifestyle. He not only focuses in on training but flexibility and diet as well! I hurt my hamstring back in October (2020) and Joel has given me specific workouts and stretches that have helped increase my range of motion. I would definitely recommend Joel to anyone who is trying to come back from an injury or just trying to get back in shape with a busy schedule.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    A private gym on 57th between 9th and 10th, that I like to use, asks for $15 dollars for the session. Compare that to other private gyms asking for $30 in manhattan.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Getting to know each other is important to the client/trainer dynamic. Learning why you started, and what motivates you is what makes your goals mine. Fitness assessments are important to start our workouts at your perfect metabolic resistance. Readiness questionnaire will also assist in this task.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    1- I have a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Personal Trainer certificate. 2- I have an Associates in Science for Health Professions. 3- I’m working on my Bachelors in Exercise Science with a focus on physical therapy. 4- CPR/AED
