FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most yards, the full installation price should be in the $7-10/sf range. This depends on the type of turf that is selected, other material such as Ultrabase, AirDrain, and Envirofill can also affect the price. If you are looking for a putting green it can range from $12-16/sf. These can be simple or very elaborate. Commercial projects are a wider range as they may have some specific requirements so they would vary from $6-16/sf. Playgrounds, sports fields, dog parks, apartments, and businesses all have different types of turfs, materials, and install methods.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we've make contact with the customer and have set up a time to meet, we will go to the location to look at the area for the project. We will take measurements, address any drainage and irrigation sections, and show samples of the artificial grass. We will also look at areas where other work may need to be done for adding rock/gravel or mulch or doing concrete or pavers. Once we get all the information, we will put together a very detailed quote that line items everything they will need so the customer feels comfortable with what we are providing them If the customer is satisfied with the quote then we will send and agreement and collect a 50% deposit. We will also set up a date to start the installation and determine how long we will be onsite When it is time to start the project our crew and staff will arrive and complete the work. If it take multiple days we will come back until it is completed. Once it is done, we will get the sign off from the customer and collect final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are members of the Synthetic Turf Council(STC) and have 3 STC certified installers including one STC instructor. This is key as being a certified install company, we are held to a Code of Ethics where we agree to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the job specifications and to conduct itself in a responsible business manner. Many of the turf manufacturers are starting to require a certified installer do the jobs to back up the warranty.
