FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No complications. Per session rate, with incentives for referrals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a complimentary consultation. I want to know what motivates you. I want to know what physical injuries and limitations you may have; what might get in the way of your goals. I want to know what kind of support system you have; what might help you get to your goals. There are always external factors that we all forget to consider. I also go over your dietary habits and any possible allergies or food intolerances. After I fully understand what you want and are trying to achieve, I do a physical assessment. I look for any muscular imbalances or postural anomalies that need to be corrected - I never want to "hammer a bent nail" as we are training. After this consultation, the real training begins. Based on what I find, I am able to make your nutrition plan and program design for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Kinesiology and a B.A. in Sociology. I have been a trainer for more than a decade. With seven certifications in various facets of training, I still enjoy the daily challenge of adapting individual meal and workout plans to the challenges presented by clients old and new.
