FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's actually not that complicated. The standard hourly rate that I quote in my bids applies for the vast majority of services, including recording of all types, editing, mixing, mastering, recording lessons etc.. I have a one hour per session booked minimum. After that I bill in 15 minute increments, so that you essentially only pay for the time actually used that day. Longer projects can be spaced out over several sessions as needed. Album, cassette, and other digital transfers and restoration are priced similarly but cost may vary depending upon the length and amount of material provided. That's it, once again, most services fall under the standard hourly rate.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Audio recording, mixing, mastering, editing, transferring, training, live sound, mobile recording, restoration, conversions, etc..
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Contact me to set up an appointment to discuss your project. Having a plan and being knowledgeable about the recording process will save you both time and money.
