About
Rockhold Karate offers specialized instruction for kids, teens and adults in the traditional martial arts of Tang Soo Do, Kummooyeh (Korean sword martial art and Korean traditional archery), Tai Chi Chuan and kickboxing fitness in Cedar Park, Texas.
Chris Rockhold is a certified master instructor dedicated to quality training, allowing students to maximize their potential as individuals and as members of the martial arts community.
A student at Rockhold Karate has the opportunity to learn defensive strikes and kicks, traditional forms, breaking, sparring, weapons and various other means of self-defense.

Ive had such a great experience at Rockhold Karate !! The instructors are super friendly, patient, and really make everyone feel welcome no matter their skill level. The classes are fun, motivating, and you can tell they genuinely care about helping students improve not just in karate, but also in confidence and discipline. Very happy to be here and will definitely recommend anyone who would like to learn Karate.

We signed up our daughter who became interested in karate and we couldnt be more pleased with Rockhold Karate! Weve seen her practice at home on her own without being asked and her confidence grow in just a couple of months. Were so happy to have found the right place for our daughter.

I was blessed to have trained at one of the premier Tae Kwon Do schools in Ohio, IJ Kim Martial Arts so it was easy for me to recognize the superior level of instruction that Master Rockhold offers. He has exceptional skills & a rare ability to intuitively know how to communicate the intricacies of the art in a manner you can understand & execute.The environment that Master Rockhold has created by caring for his students is very supportive with everyone helping one another improve. He is hands on, present at every class & working with each & every student. Traditional martial arts school teaching discipline, real self defense & confidence for his students.....I highly recommend this school. You will not be disappointed.

Rockhold Karate is a great studio. He is wonderful with the kids and I have seen so much growth in my son's confidence since coming here. He offers a great price and many different evening classes to attend. Mixed classes between kids and teens or kids/teens/adults. Attendance is not limited like other places so we can really get some training in during the week and those breaks from school. He also holds special events randomly through the month like Lightsaber class and glow in the dark sparing. If you're looking for a karate class you won't regret choosing Mr. Rockhold. He has been around for a long time and is very experienced.

My husband and sons have recently joined Rockhold Karate and it has been a great experience.Master Rockhold challenges my kids to be their best. He is firm but kind, and likes to have fun. He instills confidence and discipline, and expects them to be respectful and work hard.He knows what these kids are capable of and sets a standard for them. It has been remarkable to see my kids respond to this - - they see the bar set high, and they work to reach it. They know when they eventually earn belts it will be something they truly earn. It's not a gift, and they are motivated to achieve and progress.This is something we so desperately need for both kids and adults today!I have seen my older son grow in confidence. Even in the first couple weeks, a kid at school tried to mess with him and he used one of his moves to get away.My younger son has boundless energy, and this has been a fantastic outlet for him in a place where he learns to use that energy, with boundaries.Everyone is respectful and kind and wants to help each other.I highly recommend trying a free class here and seeing what it's about!
