Michelle and Misty are nothing short of amazing. From the moment I hired them for my wedding until now, weeks after the wedding, they have been wonderful to work with. They coordinated looks with everyone in my wedding party so I didn't have to be in the middle of any of that mess. They have a schedule and are very thorough about preparations. These girls even brough in special products for me. I can't imagine anyone providing the level of service that Polished does. Artistry wise, they have everyone beat. I'd had trials with a salon and another on location makeup artist because I'm super picky. I wish I would have contacted them first, I would have saved a lot of time, money, and energy trying out the others. Let me save you the trouble.... hire them. They are fabulous at what they do, very tallented, fun, nice, patient, and completely receptive to what I wanted. This is the kind of service that I wish everyone still provided. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework on any artist/stylist that you're considering. Ask any question that you want to know. Even if you think it's silly, ask. I promise that it's probably not silly at all. Ask how long they've been in business and if they have reviews with past clients. Find out if they are self taught or if they have formal training. Ask what photographers they work with and if they can provide examples of those collaborations. Are they full time artists/stylists or is it a hobby. You want professionals that will put you first. We are here to make your special event beautiful and stress free. You need to feel completely comfortable in your choice to work with us and we welcome any questions you may have.
