FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is primarily structured as a Flat Rate per Item. This means you get a set price for a defined piece of furniture (like a dresser, bed frame, or desk), regardless of how long it takes me to assemble it. Standard Starting Rates: My typical rates begin at $75 for smaller, simpler items and range up to $250+ for large, complex items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make the assembly process hassle-free: Details & Quote: You send me the name/link of the furniture item(s) and your location. I'll confirm the complexity and quickly provide a guaranteed, written Flat Rate Quote. Scheduling: We agree on a convenient day and time. I always confirm the appointment the day before. On-Site Assembly: I arrive promptly with all necessary professional tools. I work efficiently, cleanly, and safely, ensuring the piece is sturdy, level, and functional. Final Review: Before I leave, I ask you to inspect the assembled item(s) to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My expertise comes from 5+ years of dedicated, professional assembly work. While there's no formal degree for furniture assembly, my training is in: Tool and Equipment Proficiency: I use high-quality, professional-grade tools to ensure screws are tight, connections are secure, and items are level—far beyond what basic tools can provide. Blueprint and Diagram Reading: I am highly adept at quickly interpreting complex, multi-page instruction manuals from all major manufacturers (IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, etc.) this also comes from reading engineering drawings outside of furniture assembly.
