- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour for my services - this way it is simply a matter of keeping track of the time. That being said, though a prospective customer may initially balk at a price, it is not uncommon that a project only takes a few hours and the results are tremendously satisfactory. A client may think that their project is going to be very time-consuming and costly. Without seeing the space there is no way to know how long it may take.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I reading literature and publications on various topics related to organizing, I participate as an active member of the local chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers, and I find tremendous inspiration in the stories of various homes and lives transformed by assistance provided by organizers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had an opportunity to combine a love of helping people with a fascination and knack for space planning and sorting things out. A match made in heaven!!
