Dan replaced wooden porch rails pickets. Work included painting the new wood and attaching the rail assemblies to brick pillars. Quality of work was good, rails were mounted well and were symetrical. Work was done in a timely manner. Rate was very reasonable.
I needed some metal baseboards for my kiosk and Carl was great to work with. He is a very nice man and knowledgeable in what he does. I do appreciate his "can do" attitude and friendliness. I recommend him highly. He did a great job!
Mike did a great job. The wallpaper pattern is paneling and needed to be put up horizontally. All the lines match. He worked quickly and got the job done fast. Great job!!
Nathan made fence building easy! He was prompt and professional. Within 7 days of first meeting, I had a metal fence with gates installed. I had a good idea of what I wanted but Nathan didn't hesitate to make his own suggestions based on his experience to inhance how my fence would look and function. Wish I had more fences to build.
Andre and his team removed an old metal fence in our backyard and driveway, and installed an 8' and 6' wood fence. The job was made difficult because of numerous large rocks and buried cement. The Ascot crew worked incredibly hard and put up a great fence. The job was completed in only 2 days and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Ascot Fence.
Very good communications. While the project of building stair rails was complicated, Chad and crew got it right and work with me to create my design. Great job and finished product.
Issac did an amazing job and was able to help us out same day with a couple of door issues (exterior metal and wood doors). He is super professional, accommodating and went above and beyond to make us happy and get the job done. He went out of his way to help us out and I'm extremely greatful for the help. I would recommend him to anyone needing carpentry work and we will definitely be using him in the future on other projects.
My name is Beverly H. Dennis built a fence around the patio area of the duplex that I own. He replaced shingles on my roof and also built a railing around the perimeter of the front porch. Dennis provided estimates prior to doing the work and worked within my budget, letting me know if the price of materials needed was more or less than expected. Whenever I wanted to alter the plans, he listened, offered advice and proceeded with what we agreed upon. Dennis is an awesome honest person and I will continue to call on him when I need help.
Very large Cast Steel repair. Our Universal Eccentric Slotter broke the right-side frame (Apx 28" x 6"). After getting the electrical wiring off and out of the frame then aligning the frame as close as possible, JB painstakingly welded it back together. It was amazing how quickly the frame dissipated the heat (apx 1/2" to 3/4" thick). JB stayed on it until the job was done. Right now, even with damaged knives, I can corner cut a single sheet of copy paper and this machine is designed to cut corrugated boxes. They look even better than the copy paper. I also like his warranty - if it breaks, we don't owe him anything. If it breaks later, give him a chance to fix it. Due to the size and stress of the machine, this could hold for 5 minutes, 5 weeks or 5 years. He has given us time to try and locate another machine and get it in here while still getting our customers their orders. I am holding onto his information and will call him again.
James took care of some damaged fascia for us and did a great job. He took pains to be precise and neat (cleaning up all debris), and did exactly what I had asked and more, including tightening up some railings that had come loose. He was kind and very professional. I look forward to using James as my go-to handyman for more projects.
Justin built me a metal gate. Was exactly what I wanted and built in a timely manner.
Kermit Patterson repaired a metal lamp shade. The work was excellent and done quickly. Super job!
One of the pickets of my wrought iron fence had broken from the horizontal bar. I posted my request for a welder on Thumbtack and Mr. Gillis contacted me quickly and gave me a quote for the work. I am very glad that I hired Mr. Gillis. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I was very pleased with the results of his work. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.
We wanted a custom designed and built railing for our front steps. We wanted a reasonable price and to have it done fairly soon. Warfighter Welding (The owner, Jeremy Luna, is a Marine) gave us the first response and then asked for pictures of what we wanted exactly. We wanted a graceful arch to support the railing, as in a suspension bridge, rather than a row of 25 posts. The welding work was very fine. Mr. Luna also designed base plates to anchor the railing to the steps from the side and from the top, so the railing would not intrude over the steps, which are only three feet wide. The price was reasonable and we are entirely satisfied. We recommend this company to anyone who is concerned with design and cost and time.
Keith Anderson of Metal Worx did a great job of installing a great looking black wrought iron stair railing on my back steps. P Harris
