David C. says, "This was probably one of the most learning experiences in my life, Originally I bought a used 2008 highlander, but wanted to restore it back to oem, so here is the story: Chris began with the wheels; lug studs replacement for right passenger tire, front and back brembo rotors, front and back calipers with zinc plating and we sprayed high heat clear paint on them to protect against rust, front and back akebono brakes, new brake hoses, and brake fluid for the flush. I gave Andy brake lubricant and brake cleaner as well. For the engine, we did: Pcv valve, spark plugs, ignition coils* (rear 3 only), intake plenum gasket, and Throttle body gasket. Oil change at the end , but use engine cleaner ATS 505 first please. Throttle body cleaner, mass airflow cleaner, Intake valve and combustion chamber cleaner. *You have to take off all those gaskets to get to the spark plugs too because of the 3.5 V6 engine I have, the 2GR-FE Exhaust: Replace O2 Sensors (upstream) for better fuel mileage Steering: Replace Intermediate steering shaft Suspension: rear struts and replace full suspension mounts for the car Full Vehicle Inspection by Chris and Andy please; found no structural damage although the previous owner had a rear driver side incident. Andy used ATF205 to spray onto all the rubber bushings concurrently. Future next round at Chris’ and Andy’s Paint: Repaint rear quarter panels, roof, and tailgate with touch up all around. $1200 total labor materials purchased. Restore door paint chips."See more
