- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have 2, 3 & 4 hour pricing. Each of these prices comes with two extra fees: a fuel fee and a stair fee (if applicable). The fuel fee is based on how far we have to travel to get to your destinations, so we typically ask what city you're located in and what city you will be moving to.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we have customers call our office directly, the secretary starts by asking what day the customer needs to utilize our services and then she follows up by gathering information from the customer in order to accurately provide them with a quote.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A few years back I worked as a mover for a moving company so after frequently getting requests from customers for me to be their mover and after constantly getting positive feedback I decided to do this line of work on my own rather than working for someone. I really appreciate my customers and thanks to them I am where I am today.
